Salon Professional Services, Inc., a full service beauty supply company and the parent company of Avenue You, was founded in 1971 by Anthony Esposito. In the beginning, Salon Professional Services offered some of the finest hair, nail and skin products to salons, spas and beauty boutiques throughout the state of New Jersey. As the beauty supply industry changed over time, so did Mr. Esposito and his company. He expanded his inventory to 14 beauty supply stores known as Beauty Plus. These stores took in the entire Salon Professional Services catalog of products and brought them under one roof for the professional and retail shopper to see, learn about and buy.
In 2003, two of Anthony's children, Lisa and Brian, saw a transition in the beauty supply industry and decided to take the steps towards creating Avenue You, a one-stop beauty supply store offering the finest in hair, nail, skin, body and appliance lines in the entire industry. The prototype store was established in Deal, New Jersey.
"Deal is a very effluent neighborhood with smart, savvy and sharp shoppers," said Brian Esposito, CEO of Avenue You. "I knew if our product mix worked in this market, it would work anywhere. And it did. Once the correct line-up was established, I knew we had to find a way to get it to as many people as possible — the Internet."

The Esposito's also use a MonsterMerchantAccount to process and ship their orders more quickly. 99.9% of all their orders are processed, packed and shipped same or next day. The usual shopper, depending upon their geographic location, will receive their order within 1 to 5 business days. International shoppers get their order, in its' entirety, within 4 to 10 business days.
